HILANGNYA AKAL SEHAT

Mengapa manusia hilang akal atau tidak memakai akal sehatnya? Sesuai dengan fakta, manusia itu cenderung untuk melakukan sesuatu yang disenanginya, termasuk tidak melakukan apa-apa sama sekali. Padahal semestinya,manusia itu harus melakukan apa apa yang memang seharusnya dia lakukan. Sukur kalau yang dia senangi itu termasuk bagian dari yang harus dia kerjakan. Tapi sering terjadi justeru serba tidak tahu dan bahkan tidak merasa perlu untuk tahu harus berbuat apa. Itulah sebenarnya yang harus dengan arif dipertanyakan. Kita harus dengan jujur mempertanyakan kualitas diri kita sendiri. Mengapa kita tidak tahu dan bahkan tidak berbuat apa-apa. Oleh para psikolog, penyebab utamanya adalah karena kita tidak mampu mendefenisikan Tujuan kita secara detail. Ketidak mampuan kita mendefenisikan tujuan secara detail inilah yang telah membuang dan mematikan peran akal sehat itu. Itulah sesungguhnya kunci persoalan kita. Kenapa kita tidak dan terkadang tidak mau atau tidak mampu mendefinisikannya secara realistis dan detail ? Jawaban mudahnya adalah ; kita memang tidak mau atau belum mau. Karena dengan mendefenisikan tujuan tersebut, akan membuat kita hidup terikat, hidup bertanggung jawab. Padahal secara mendasar, semua orang cenderung berbuat sesuatu tanpa harus terikat dan kalau bisa tidak harus menjadi beban apalagi harus mempertanggung jawabkan setiap langkah yang kita lakukan..

Para pebisnis atau praktisi bisnis seperti Robert Kiyosaki melihat upaya mendapatkan penghasilan atau malah membuat usaha yang mampu menghasilkan uang yang baik sebenarnya tidaklah susah. Ini adalah proses alam dan ini adalah hukum Tuhan. Hiduppun tidak obahnya seperti itu. Tetapi anehnya, tidak semua orang mengerti akan proses ini. Dan jangan lupa banyak orang yang tidak peduli dengan hal-hal seperti itu.

Kecenderungannya adalah, mereka olah lahannya, tanam bibitnya, tetapi tidak pernah mempertanyakan kualitasnya. Malah mereka tahu bahwa mereka hanya sekedar melakukannya karena memang harus demikian, karena kalau tidak mereka lakukan berarti mereka dicap sebagai pemalas.Intinya banyak pekerjaan itu dilakukan hanya demi sekedar memperoleh nama baik dan agar bisa diterima oleh lingkungannya. Kalau nanti hasilnya tidak maksimal, bagi mereka hal seperti itu biasa saja. Sama halnya dengan kemiskinan itu sendiri; miskin adalah jalan hidup dan tidak ada yang perlu dipermasalahkan.Padahal kemiskinan itu sendiri, juateru memperburuk kehidupan, baik saat ini maupun untuk masa yang akan datang.

Kalau kita menangkap esensi tulisan diatas, sebenarnya cara hidup kitalah yang bermasalah, penyebabnya karena kita tidak mendefenisikan Tujuan kita secara detail dan tidak melakukan pekerjaan kita secara professional. Selama ini kita menekuni pekerjaan itu, karena kita diberikan pekerjaan seperti itu. Dari awal kita memang tidak pernah mendesain hidup kita untuk jadi apa, dan tidak juga mendefinisikannya akan menjadi apa. Kita hanya sekedar melakoni kehidupan itu. Kita memang punya izasah dan dengan izasah itulah kita menggantungkan nasib kita entah jadi apa; dan nantinya kita juga akan menerima pekerjaan apa saja. Tidak peduli apakah pekerjaan itu sesuai dengan keinginan kita, yang ada hanyalah melakoni hidup itu dengan rutinas yang ada.

Kalau lingkungannya rajin, kita jadi rajin dan sebaliknya. Meski kita akui sebenarnya sangat sederhana, tetapi di situlah kelemahan kita selama ini. Padahal kalau saja kesadaran untuk mendefinisikan tujuan, memperbaiki atau meningkatkan kualitas serta melakukannya dengan sungguh-sungguh maka tentu akan lain hasilnya. Pertanyaan berikutnya tentu pada luasnya lahan; kalau kita perlu berubah, maka betapapun hebatnya kualitas panennya, tetapi kalau lahannya terbatas tentu hasilnya tetap akan terbatas. Karena itu harus ada upaya menambah lahan; dan kalau telah diperhitungkan dan ternyata sesuai maka yang dilakukan berikutnya adalah menyewa lahan yang lebih luas. Dialektika seperti itu akan bisa diterapkan dalam semua sendi kehidupan dan secara logika akan mampu pula membuat suatu perubahan.

Kondisi lain yang kerap muncul adalah ketika kita sadar semuanya sudah terlanjur sangat jauh. Katakanlah umur kita sudah diambang sore; ada semacam kecemasan bahwa kita bakal tidak mampu lagi untuk mengusung cita-cita kita yang semula.Terhadap fakta seperti itu, anda jangan berkecil hati. Yang penting pahamilah kedudukan yang ada, lalu buat kembali desain peta kehidupan anda yang baru. Pilihan anda tetap masih sangat banyak. Kalau dahulu pilihan itu sebenarnya diperuntukkan untuk kualitas manusia diatas rata-rata, sementara anda menyadari berada dibawah standar itu, maka yang diperlu disikapi adalah melakukan perubahan seperlunya; tidak perlu menjadi terbesar dan “the best “ di bidang seperti itu, tetapi anda masih bisa mencari standar cita-cita yang biasa tetapi anda kerjakan dengan sungguh-sungguh, dengan talenta.
